I Can Has Roommate?

For once, I'd like a roommate to stay with me...

While my roommate last year stayed with me all year long, she ended up deleting me on Facebook. So... That shows a sign that either she disliked me in the long run or she just didn't care to stay in touch with me anymore. *sigh*

Well, I thought this year I'd have a great roommate all year long. >_> Turns out I was wrong.

I was rooming with a girl named Lisa. And while we had only talked for an hour before deciding to be roommates, it all seemed like it was going to work out. I guess not. On Thursday, she moved out. And pretty much left without looking back. I realize she moved in with her best friend. But for God's sake! Did she just forget about me? I guess so. She hasn't talked to me since and I'll half-bet that she's going to delete me on Facebook.

It was really awkward because she came back right after she'd moved out. To get her remote. >_> I really wanted to say, "Are you back to move in??? Please tell me you are!" But that didn't happen. So now I'm left in a half empty room. It's rather embarrassing and downright sad to even be in here. :(

I don't know how long I really want to go without a roommate, but I'd really like another one soon. If that's even possible and no serial killers want to be my roommate. So if anyone is out there looking for a roommate at Ball State University, contact me! Please! It's sad and lonely in my room. :(

It's the Interwebz! :D

You all know I'm a bit obsessed with the Interwebz... Right...?

Well it's true! So deal with it! xD

So yes, I'm a bit obsessed with teh Interwebz. I can't get enough of it sometimes. And at other points in time, I can get too much of it. Everyone loves the Interwebz. Unless you're a stingy old person who hates electronics and today's youth. Lol!

I did a post over my favorite YouTube videos earlier. So why not do one over my favorite websites? I mean, I've got about... *counts in head and on fingers* 62 hours and 15 minutes before I have anything extremely important to go to or do. Like go to class. Which is at noon on Monday. >_< But anywho... Yes... So let's get to it. xD

Facebook

I love Facebook. It's like... My crack. xD I like to look at people's profiles and update my own. And by update my own, I mean my status. And by look at people's profiles, I mean stock them. xD If you're one of my extremely close friends or you're already friends with me on Facebook, I'm sure you get pissed off at me quite often for updating my status about 10 bazillion times a day! Right???... No. I take that back. It isn't 10 bazillion times a day. It's close to maybe like... A million? xD But yes, I update my status A LOT! O_O Like so much that you guys should probably smack for being a status whore. *prepares for smackedness from peoples*

YouTube

Yes. I love YouTube. Who'd have thought that? xD Definitely not because of my blog post from earlier. >_> No. It couldn't be that. But in all seriousness, YouTube is one of my Top Visited Websites. I haven't gone on it in the past few days because I think I got burnt out on it after looking at it so much. I'm so behind on videos though. Literally. I've got videos from at the beginning of this week, and that is honestly not like me. But I always love a good YouTube video. And I'm always definitely looking for new subscriptions. I just got rid of some a few weeks ago because their videos were worthless. :P But here are some of my favorite subscriptions:
  • AngryFilmsProductions
  • ashens
  • BeanerLaRue
  • charlestrippy
  • collegehumor
  • daneboe
  • derrickcomedy
  • eddsworld
  • failblog
  • jacksfilms
  • JPizzle1122
  • meekakitty
  • MondoMedia

  • realannoyingorange
  • SecretAgentBob
  • SHAYTARDS
  • TheFineBros
  • TheSecondCityNetwork
  • TheStation
  • WHATTHEBUCKSHOW
  • YTwatchdog
That's a good portion of them. I have others but honestly, those are my favorites. xD

Yahoo!

Gotta check my email, right?

Ball State Main Website

This is where I check my school email.

IMDB

This is where I check all of the actors and upcoming movies and all that jazz!

FunnyJunk

Yes... This is lesser of two evils when it comes to 4Chan and FunnyJunk. 4Chan is a scary place in my eyes. Especially /b/. O_O *shudders* But I post crap on it. xD Find me under iheartmozart.

AddictingGames

I play games on here. It's as simple as that.

Humon Comics

SATW for the freaking win! xD Niels and Tentacles with Love are pretty awesome as well! :D Denmark rocks my socks off! And Finland is pretty badass at parts. xD

DeviantArt

I don't get on here all that often, but I follow Humon and some other people, so it's always nice to look at their drawings and stuff. I also follow Claudia. xD She's pretty good! And Cody too!

Hyperbole and a Half

This is the reason I started blogging. All because of this awesome chick right here. Go check out her stuff. It's hilarious and will have you ROFL! xD Her stories and posts totally make my day and life better.

I think that's all I can think of right now. I may come back and write more. But for now, those are my main sites I go on. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go browse FunnyJunk, talk to Viv, and wait for Matt to get home. :) And have a nice conversation while he bitches about work. xD Not really. But the conversation part really will happen. Otay. Bai gais!

Oh YouTube... How You Make Me Lol

So like most people out there, I watch YouTube Videos...

I figured I couldn't write a blog post without mentioning some of my favorite videos.

The first time I saw this was about 4 years ago when I was still in high school. My brother showed it to me. And I literally thought it was one of THE funniest things I'd ever seen. xD This guy's fake pain totally makes me feel better about myself whenever I watch it. However, I feel bad for the guys who watch this video. Because if any guy out there reading this has had their penis smacked real hard or been ball tapped, then you are probably feeling this guy's pain after watching this video. So I apologize if I put you in any pain.

When I was younger and Emmie was still in high school, we'd hang out after school. A lot of the time, we'd watch YouTube videos in her room or in the computer room in my house. We would share videos with one another, and it was always quite enjoyable. So, this one here is in French. And it's hilarious. I about fell over from laughing so hard the first time I saw it. Basically, before you click on it, there's two things you need to know. 1. It's a sponge commercial and 2. there are hedgehogs in it. And no, none of them are Sonic. xD But this still gets me to laugh every single time I watch it.

I love CollegeHumor. They are one of my favorite channels that I'm subscribed to on YouTube. While this one is not their best video, it definitely one of my favorites. xD It's about Ronald McDonald's funeral. I guess the funniest parts are about how he ate McDonalds for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day for 50 years, how he had an illegitimate child with that bird lady thing, and the very end of it, which has a surprise twist. And after I saw Supersize Me, this video just made it all better. xD

No. This isn't one of my favorite videos because I'm in it. It's one of my favorites because of the humor. It's called Attack of the Annotations because annotations became such a popular thing to use in YouTube videos at one point and so many people would use SO MANY ANNOTATIONS in their videos. So one of my friends, Tommy, decided to make a video about annotations mutating and attacking people. This is the trailer for it. It's so random which is why I love it so much. Especially the end. xD It stars me, Viv, Cody, and Tommy.

Yes. I had to include this one. It is a classic in my book. It's about Billy feeling left out from the world and wanting to be like this other dude, who turns out to be emo. So the narrator teaches him how to be emo. And it follows Billy as he transitions into being an emo. It also details the history of emos and where they started. It goes into talking about how to walk, talk, dress, act, and be emo. I feel bad for Billy at parts but also, it's supposed to be humorous so that's why I love it so much.

It's exactly what the title says. This video is all about scientists testing out Wood Spiders while on psychoactive drugs and their effects on web-building. They use LSD, caffeine, THC, alcohol, and crack cocaine. My favorite is the crack cocaine spider, just because he rides in a little car, finds that building webs are for suckas, waits til the caffeine spider is exhausted, comes up behind it and pops a cap in its ass. Then, when winter comes, the marijuana spider has nowhere to live and ends up in the crack spider's web as the crack spider's bitch. xD

There are times where I get obsessed (again with the obsessive behavior xD) with searching up different types of YouTube videos. One of those being ghost videos and stuff. Whether they're creepy or funny, I still watch them. This one is about these people who took a vacation. And drew stuff on their pictures to make it look like there were ghosts. xD My favorite part is towards the end when one of them is just practicing soccer and this guy comes out of nowhere with a blanket over him and starts running around the yard. What makes it better is that they play the theme from Phantom of the Opera as background music.

I wish I could have a pet narwhal! This song makes them seem so freaking awesome! Because they are! Narwhals, narwhals swimming in the ocean, causing a commotion cause they are so awesome. Narwhals, narwhals swimming in the ocean, pretty big and pretty white, they beat a polar bear in a fight. xD It's lyrics like those that make songs an A+ in my book.

This one is about tigers and how to poop. It's animated. But it's hilarious only because these aren't the real subtitles. xD But it makes me laugh everytime.

So I'm sure you guys are tired of watching these by clicking on the links. I'll make it easier. Go to YouTube and look up the username:

crescentrolls90

That's me.

Not only can you find my favorites, but you can also find my own videos that I have on there. :) I currently have 8 videos up. I plan on making more and putting them up. But about half of them are of me singing. The most recent one is of the song A Change In Me from the Broadway version of Beauty and the Beast. It's my favorite song to sing from that musical and I'll be honest with you: that video is not the best. Lol. I say that only because of the fact that I was kinda sick and so I don't sound as good as I could have. But my very first video that I put up was of me and my ex-boyfriend singing The Prayer. If you don't recognize it, listen to the Celine Dion/Andrea Bocelli version or the Charlotte Church/Josh Groban version. Either will be fine. :)

Ok. Well I'm gonna go take a nap now! I may or may not post something later. But most likely, I will. Lol. What better to do on a Friday night? xD Otay. Bye guys!

You're Driving Me Into A Freaking Wall!

F*** YOU BASS GUY!!!!

I really don't want to use derogatory language on this blog all that much. But seriously... This is an exception...

So as most of you know, I live in Kinghorn. And it's a fantastic place. The rooms are nice, the food is great, and I feel so much more accepted in this dorm than I did in my last one. I moved in towards the end of August. It was Wednesday, August 18. And I didn't stay the night because I was anxious about staying alone. : / So I stayed the night at a friend's house. The next night, I spent the night in my room. Which was fine. Until all of a sudden, there was this noise that kept me up half the night. It was the boom of a bass. I wanted to stab someone.

I don't really appreciate it when someone keeps me up half the night almost every single night. I could deal with it the first couple of nights, but by that Saturday, he had pissed me off to no end. He had even kept my roommate up all night on Saturday night. She didn't fall asleep until about 6 in the morning. So that night, I went to my RA, and talked to her about this whole situation. While I'm sure she went to talk to this guy about it, he obviously didn't listen to her. >_<

So almost every night since then, he has gone til about 3 in the morning, playing his music really loud. It is very disturbing! I've lost a lot of sleep because of this douche box. >_< Is it too much to ask for a simple night of sleep with no sound? Please! Anywho... I don't know this guy's name, nor do I really want to know his name. So therefore, I've resorted to calling him Bass Guy. I've complained about him so much on Facebook and to my friends that I simply just had to write about him. Lol.

It's not that he has a horrible taste in music. It's just he NEVER changes it up. It always varies between country and rap. During one of his head bobbing sessions, it's country. And then the next, it's hardcore rap. And just last night, for the first time, he played metal. Don't get me wrong. I like all types of music. But when a person plays rap late at night, especially 3 in the morning, you seriously begin to rethink your own taste in music. Unless you're the one causing the noise.

I've talked to this douche box about 5 times this semester, and I've even left him a freaking note! And in that note, I politely asked him, "Hey Mr. Bass Guy, can you please keep your bass down or completely turned off at night and during the afternoons? Or maybe wear a pair of headphones? Please. It's very disturbing, especially at night because I can not sleep. Blah blah blah... Your Sleeping Neighbors :)" Now... Is that too much to ask for? To politely turn his bass speakers off? I don't think so. So what happens next? Not even 3 minutes after I've gotten back into bed after leaving that note outside his door, he comes a knockin'. And with someone else! I assume it's his roommate (which I intentionally thought he didn't have one. Whoops). So we talked things out. And we agreed that he'd keep his music down or off during quiet hours on the week nights and during the day when I'm studying. I told him he could have it up on Saturdays, because honestly, I really don't care about Saturdays. I'm out with friends on Saturdays so it doesn't really matter. And that was the agreement. He even told me, "Look, I want everyone in this dorm to be happy so I'll go with what they want." Really Bass Guy? HA!

I shouldn't have believed him. Because not even 5 minutes after we'd finished talking with one another, I hear, "BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOOOOOOOOM!" and lots of yelling from him and his roommate/friend/butt buddy/whoever! Seriously, does this guy not realize how inconsiderate he's being? Apparently not. I know I should've gone to the Hall Director right away, but honestly, I thought this guy would get the picture at some point. Nope. Now I seriously think he's just doing it to be an ass to me. I knew I shouldn't have trusted him because you could just tell by the look on his douche box face that he doesn't really care about anyone but himself. Hmpf!

So maybe one of these days, I will get back to my normal sleep schedule... Whatever that may be.

All About Me

I had another one of these posted, but blogspot is temperamental apparently... >_<

I should probably introduce myself.

I'm Kourtney. And I'm 20 years old. Look! Dat's me! :D

I gots mah hurs cut! xD

So yes... That's me. Where to start... Oh! The beginning of my life. Lol.

I was born on May 31, 1990 in Indianapolis, Indiana. In a hospital of course. xD When I was two, my family and I moved to Noblesville, a small city about 30 to 45 minutes north of my birth home.

For the next 17 years, that was my home. I lived with my mom, dad, and brother. However, when I turned 5, my parents got a divorce and my dad moved down to Georgia. My mom remarried 2 years later when I was in the first grade, and ever since then, I've lived with my mom, step-dad, and brother. My step-sister would come stay with us every other weekend. After my dad moved to Georgia, my brother and I would go visit him three times a year. We'd go down during spring break, two weeks during the summer, and during Christmas break. I always loved going down South. :) It was like going to a second home that was warmer and had red dirt instead of brown. We'd do tons of things like go to the mall, go to the water park that was about half an hour away, go to Lake Lanier, go up to Helen, Georgia, watch movies, and just spend time together. :) It was always a blast. As I got older, my brother and I stopped going together, and started to go at different times. And that was always fun as well. During my freshmen year of high school, my dad moved back up to Indiana with his girlfriend and her two daughters. He currently lives in Sheridan, which is just a 20 minute drive from Noblesville.

Like many other people, I've had pets throughout my life. The first pet I ever had that was my own was Jewel, my beta fish. She was a red beta fish, and I loved her so much. :) I think I had her for about a year or so before I had to flush her down the toilet. It was October, and it had been a few days since my mom and step-dad had gotten married. They were in Florida, celebrating their honeymoon. My cousin Donna was staying with me and my brother while they were gone. One night, I went to go feed Jewel, and I noticed that she was floating on her back. I thought she was taking a nap. After feeding her and coming back later, I realized something was wrong. Donna came to check with me, and told me that Jewel had passed away. I was devastated! D: My fish had died! All because of me! I thought maybe I had fed her too much, or not enough, or maybe I hadn't loved her enough. All of these ideas were running through my mind. I was so upset. Then I remembered what people did when their fish died: THEY FLUSHED THEM DOWN THE TOILET!!! D: NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! This would not fly by me! I wouldn't have it! But it was too late... Donna had already taken my hand and was leading me to the toilet. As I said my last goodbye to Jewel and as the flushing began, I quickly grabbed Jewel out of the toilet with my bare hand! I didn't want to say goodbye to her. :( But it had to be done. So Donna flushed it, and she was gone. My first pet... DEAD AND GONE! D: WHAT EVER WAS I GOING TO DO!

Eventually, I got over Jewel's death. About two years later, that whole, "OMGIWANTAPUPPYCANWEGETAPUPPYPLEASEMOMPLEASEDAD" phase overcame me. It was about 6 months after we'd moved into our new house that we got Luke. :) He was an Australian Terrier, and about a year old. We got him at Pass Pets in the Castleton Mall. I was completely certain that we wouldn't be getting him. I was at my grandparents house in Indy for the weekend. When Sunday came, I was excited to go home. But when my parents came, they had a little surprise for me. It was our new puppy! :D My step-dad was carrying him in a towel and he had just had a bath. I loved him right away. Unfortunately, I got very little sleep that night because he was a noisy little fellow. But that was the first night of many nights with him.

Luke on his last 4th of July

Luke was a great dog. He was definitely a best friend to me. And the bond we shared was pretty awesome, especially when it came to music. His favorite composer was Mozart. He would lay in our living room while I would practice piano. It always calmed him down. Unfortunately, as time went on and as he got older, he began to get very sick. He was always shaking and would always growl at us. We knew he was in great pain because he had never acted like that in his younger years. After a little bit of research, I came across something that sounded like what may have been going on with Luke. A brain tumor. And I felt a little relieved that I knew what was causing him so much pain. But it still did no good to know that he was in so much pain and to see him suffering. On December 2, 2008, he went to Doggie Heaven. I loved that dog so much. But I know he's in a better place now.

We went a little less than a year without a pet in our household. On Halloween 2009, my parents brought home a new addition to our family: Lexee. She was a ball of pent up energy and wanted to bite everything in sight. She loves running around the house and jumping up and down on the couches. xD And whenever Matt is over, she loves to jump on his head. Yes, his HEAD. She loves people, and will most likely be your best friend. Although she is a crazy little girl, we all love her. :)

Lexee as a small puppy
Lexee loving the Colts! :D
Although Lexee is at home, I mss her dearly. :( But I love her tons! :D

I have two other pets. Their names are Lil' McHipp and O'Hopp. :) They are mah froggies. :D

The one up top is O'Hopp and the one below is Lil' McHipp
They just sit on desk, swimming around their little bamboo tree and being cute little froggies. :D

So moving away from pets, I'll tell you a little bit more about myself.

I have an obsessive behavior sometimes. Like... I'll love something so much that I'll only focus on that one thing over others. Take Facebook for example. I'm on there more during the day than I sleep at night. So yeah... I have an obsession with Facebook, the Interwebz, and my computer. I'm on it as much as possible.

I'm also the world's pickiest eater. Seriously guys. I dislike most vegetables and I dislike fruit. :P You can hate me or smack me for this if you must or just simply feel the need to. >_>

I love TV. I have specific TV shows that I absolutely love and some that I absolutely see no point in watching. I love True Blood. It's not just because it's about vampires. It's the storyline I love. Plus Eric and Bill are hot. It's as simple as that. I also love Grey's Anatomy. :D I think that's partially part of the reason why I wanted to go into the medical field. Plus, when I found out that Matt's uncle plays Alex Karev, I about flipped and crapped my pants. First off, Alex Karev is my favorite character. Secondly, Alex Karev is hot. I will not deny that. Sorry Matt. I know it's creepy that I think your uncle is hot, but I can't deny that. I'm sorry. You'll just have to deal with it. xD Third... Well really, there's no third. Lol. I've recently started watching Hell's Kitchen. That show is fantastic! And I'm so happy that that fat, idiotic man named Raj is off for good! He should never have been on that show, no matter how  experienced he is. And that Sabrina chick... I hope she's off next because I'll be honest, she's a real, true BITCH! ):<

So I switched to another paragraph for this next one. Glee. Yes. I'm a Gleek. But I have reason to be one. And that reason is because in high school, that was exactly what my life was like. I was outcasted somewhat. I honestly never felt like I fit in anywhere; except with my friends in choir. Show choir was my life. I competed with New Dimension (the all-female show choir) for three years. I was a techie my freshmen year of high school, and it was quite the experience. That compelled me to want to be in show choir. I wanted so very badly to be in Singers, which was the top, the elite show choir. Only because it was mixed. Unfortunately, I never made it into Singers ever, and my dreams were shattered at the end of my junior year when I saw my name on that list for New Dimension. But to be honest, I'm glad I was never in Singers. I met some of the best girls ever in New Dimension my senior year. :) And I love them all! I miss them all so much, no matter where they're at now. So going back to why I watch Glee. 1. That was my life! I can relate to them all so much. 2. I love bursting out into song and so desperately wish life could be one big musical sometimes. 3. Show choir was the bomb diggity. I will never lie about that. I was an avid show choir junkie. xD I would go online to YouTube and look up different show choir routines and just imagine myself competing with them. Lol. So in other words, I was crazy in high school because I had no life except for music.

So speaking of high school... I loved it. I know some people hated it, but I honestly loved it at times. That's where I had some of the best times of my life with some of the best friends ever. Although, I've lost some of those friends... Ok really, it was just one friend. I don't talk to him anymore. We don't speak to one another because I broke his heart last year. He was honestly the love of my life, or so I thought. Turns out he wasn't that great of a person. >_> Then again, I only had eyes for him and no one else. At least that was until Matt came along. :) So even though this guy is out of my life, it's not that big of a deal. I've moved on and I'm sure in time, he will too. Besides, I've still got my friends that really matter. And those are the people I talked about in my last post. I may have left some out but I can always go and make another post and talk about the people I missed.

Right now, I'm sitting on the third floor lounge of my dorm, Kinghorn, and looking out the window. I can feel the sunlight hitting my right foot and it feels fantastic. I'm half tempted to go outside and blog out there. But as of right now, I should probably go study for my anatomy test that I have at 6. Ugh... My nerves are running wild right now. >_< So hopefully I can do well on this test. :P Wish me luck peoples! :D Bye!

These Are My Friends... Deal With It :)

I promised I would only use their pictures if I had their permission...

So, as I mentioned in my first post, I have friends. xD I'm not some creeper emo person who sits in their dorm room all day and night, wishing she had friends to go outside and play with. No, I have friends. REAL friends. xD They really do exist! From the time I was little, I've always had trouble making friends on my own. I have the tendency to be shy and stray away from people. So I guess in a way, I am the creeper emo girl who likes to be by herself. But that's beside the point! Wait... Nevermind... >_>

Yes, I have friends. And they're some of the greatest ever. :) Most of them have just recently come into my life in the last year or so, but a select few I've known since I was a young lass, traveling the halls of elementary and intermediate school. All of these people honestly complete me and make my life better and interesting. They're all unique, and yet something about them keeps drawing me back to them. I'm not sure where to start or who to start with... Oh! I'll start off from the one I've known the longest. :)

This is Emeline. Or Emmie as I've always called her...

:D Emmie in all her Emmieness!

I've known this girl since March of 2001. We were riding home on the school bus and she noticed I was reading Charlotte's Web. And thus began a beautiful friendship. :) She's one of my very best friends ever. I honestly don't know what I'd do without her in my life. She's always given the best advice when I've needed and even when I haven't. And she's always been there for me. She is a junior at Purdue University. And currently, she is studying abroad in France. Next semester she'll be off to Germany. Although she is 'on the other side of the pond' as she puts it, she's still one of my very best friends and I love her dearly. And I can't wait til she comes back. Because we'll be partying our asses off for her return! :D

This is Vivian. Or Viv as she goes by...

Viv being awesome xD

I've known Viv since the 7th grade. I think it was second semester when we met. All I remember about meeting her was that one of my friends told me to go up to her and pop my Fruit by the Foot package in her ear and make her jump. So I did. And thus began an on-going thing that lasted all year; which I found to be hilarious. xD She's probably one of the best guitarists I know. She can totally shred it. She's also very into music, just as much as I am. :) She's in a band called Steel Penny. We've got so many inside jokes between us that I can't even remember every single one of them. It's crazy. But she definitely knows how to make me laugh. She's always been a great friend and although she's not up here in Muncie, we definitely know how to stay in touch. We text each other like crazy. xD Also, she's engaged to a great guy named Rob. And I can't wait for their wedding. :D

This is Shayne... Or the Beacon of Hope xD

Shayne being odd! xD

I met Shayne around the same time I met Viv. I met him through another one of my friends and we became good friends after that. In August of 8th grade, we started dating, and the relationship went til about January. For the rest of 8th grade and a couple of times in high school, we dated on and off. But honestly, I could never go back to dating him for the reason of him being too good of a friend. And I would never want to lose him as a friend. He's like a brother to me and I could not be more proud of him and the accomplishments he's made in his life. He is one of the smartest people I know, and always works hard in school. He loves video games, but he also knows how and when to be disciplined. :) He's a sophomore at USI and he's a a philosophy major. Hopefully, he'll be a lawyer one day. And I know that if he does become a lawyer, he'll sure as hell be a fantastic one! :D

This is Cody...

Say "Cheese!"

I remember I was in Session 1 of Summer Gym, and somewhere during that session, I was introduced to Cody. We hit off an awesome friendship and suddenly, Summer Gym wasn't so bad. I remember we ended up creating Saltman and came up with a story about how he created the world. We also created Treeman. xD I saw him on and off throughout high school, but somehow, we managed to maintain our friendship. I saw him quite a bit during my senior year even though he was up at Ball State. And I also talked to him quite a bit through Facebook and AIM. I'll be honest with you all: he's quite the drawer of otters. xD But for realz, he's a great artist, especially his photos and drawings. I honestly hopes he keeps up with it all. He never ceases to impress me with his newest creations. :)

This is Steph...

Whoa! Party Girl Steph!

When I was in elementary school and I moved, I was sad. I remember starting 3rd grade and knowing NO ONE! I didn't meet Steph until the 4th grade, but I quickly learned how nice and awesome of a person she is. Over the years, we've had a on-going friendship. It wasn't until high school that we really started to hang out. And even then, we still didn't see each other all that much. Even so, that didn't stop us from not being friends. I was always invited to her parties and such. She definitely knew how to throw a good party and to get people to have a good time. She was 5th in our class and it's no wonder she's now at IU. This girl has always wanted to work for Disney and I know whatever she does with her life and her carer, she'll be successful. :)

This is Jessica...

Yeah, you hug that tree Jessica! xD

I had never really known Jessica very well until this past summer. Summer 2010 was a great one because of her and two other people. I met her in high school but was never really friends with her. I always thought she was a kind and nice person. We had piano together during our junior and senior years of high school. I definitely remember her playing a solo and I was so wowed by her playing that I envied her. Over the summer, I went to Florida with her and two of our other friends. We spent a week together and it couldn't have gone better. :) I think whatever Jessica does with herself in the future will take her places. She's a student at IUPUI and I know she's worked hard to get to where she is now.

This is Lauren...

Omg! Lauren's legs are gone! D:

I've been friends with this girl since middle school. I met her through a mutual friend. And we had choir together. She was always the quiet girl, so it was hard to talk to her sometimes, only because I didn't know her so well. All I really knew about her was that she was extremely nice. But over the years, I've come to realize that she is, indeed, crazy. And I mean that in a good way. :) Though she is a quiet one when first sighted, the more you get to know her, the more you'll realize she can be loud and tons of fun. And she likes to scream at things and fall off her seat during movies. xD This girl has been able to get me to read things and to watch things. Lol. She got me into the Cirque du Freak series, which I love! And she always keeps me updated on certain things related to our interests... Like Harry Potter! :D I've also learned that car trips are fun with her. She definitely comes out of her shell. Lauren is a sophomore at SMWC on scholarship for academics and running. I think she is quite the talented writer and whatever she decides to do with her life after graduating, she'll do wonders and impress anyone that comes her way. :)

This is Claudia...

Omg! It's Freaking Harry Potter! Nah... It's Claudia in disguise! xD

This girl is fantastic. :D She never ceases to be awesome. I mean, come on! She's Harry Freakin' Potter! xD Not really, but she's just as awesome. I met her through choir in high school. She was a techie for New Dimension and Viv introduced us. It wasn't until my senior year that we really became friends. We had Sociology together and sat next to each other, which was quite entertaining. I never did have choir with her, but I know it would have been fantastic if we had. I love it when she goes on random rants in Spanish or German. And her stories are always interesting to listen to. I don't think I ever go a day without at least saying hi to her. Had it not been for her and Lauren, that trip to Florida would never have happened. So for that, I thank them. Claudia definitely deserves to be at IU. It's a big campus, but I know Claudia will take it on and make it her own. This girl will go places, no matter where it's at in the world. :)

This is Sierra...

Sierra being her smiley self :)

This girl is a savior in my eyes. If it weren't for her, I probably wouldn't have survived my first year of college. We first met at youth group my freshmen year of high school. Right from the start, I wanted to be friends with this girl. She was so nice and she seemed like someone who would be a great friend. And over the years, although we never really were close friends, still talked to one another. If ever I saw her at school in the hallways, I would always try to say hi. Coming to Ball State, I didn't have many friends going here. Then I remembered that Sierra attended Ball State and lived in the dorm next door to me. We ended up watching Glee in her room one night and from then on, we've been the best of friends. Her kind words and her never-ending faith in God give me faith in myself. And she also gives me faith in the education system. I honestly believe that she will be a wonderful elementary school teacher. I can't wait to see what she does with her life and the students she influences. :)

This is Paul...

Paul, as Mustache McGee

Oh Paul. What can I say about you? Oh! That you are spectacular in your own way. And that you know how to make my day. I've known this guy since high school. I was introduced to him through a mutual friend because she knew I had a crush on him. But what girl didn't have a crush on him? xD Paul has always been extremely fun to be around. He always has something to say, whether it's a lecture or not. And when he gets talking about politics, he will get on a roll and not let up. His taste in music is impeccable. I love reading his statuses and the arguments that ensue between him and friends. They always make my day. Even though you are all the way up at Purdue, you are missed by all of us here in Muncie and in Noblesville. He is a bright one and I honestly don't think life would be the same without him in it.

This is Anne...

Mm! Anne = Pretty lady!

This girl... Is such a joy! :D I've known her since my freshmen year of high school. And although at first I didn't exactly like her because I thought she was trying to steal the guy I had always liked, I've come to realize that she could've cared less and honestly disliked the kid. xD She's always a joy to be around. She always has sometime to say, whether it's important or just completely random. She's a real sweetie and great to talk to. She gives good advice and I know she works hard at the things she does. I never see her not smiling unless she's extremely stressed. But she's always in a good mood. I love her personality. And I'm so happy to see her with a wonderful guy who treats her well. I'm so glad she's a Ball State this year, because it definitely gives me a chance to be closer with her. She's a great friend, and I hope our friendship will blossom into a much better friendship than what it already is. :)

This is Josh...

You know what's different about Josh? He's sitting down! xD

I've known Josh for a short time like I have many of these other people in this post. He is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He never has a mean thing to say. Unless he's mad. xD Which I've never really seen him mad. He's always up to date on certain things like TV shows and games and such. And he definitely loves Whose Line Is It Anyways? If it weren't for him, I don't think any of the times we would hang out with everyone would've happened. He's always the one to get ahold of everyone and make sure plans are happening. This kid could go on and on for hours about games and such, so it's always interesting for me to listen to. His stories are great as well. He is currently up at Purdue, and a lot of the time, we miss him here in Muncie. I'm glad he's in my life because he honestly is a wonderful friend. :)

This is Kaylie...

D'awww... Kaylie in all of her cuteness!

I honestly don't remember who friend requested who but we met through Facebook. And when I first met her, I honestly thought this girl didn't like me. This was only because she hardly spoke and I honestly did not know her except through Facebook. After meeting her in person and getting to know her, I've come to find that she is a dear sweetie and is a very loving and caring person. She, like so many of my friends, has a talent all her own. She's a great photographer and artist. I know she had a rough year last year, just because of her major. But I'm glad she made it through. I really hope to become better friends with her. We've tried making plans but they never seem to go through all the way. Lol. So I pray that this year can bring us closer. :)

This is Brent...

The Astounding Brent
He's quite the awesome person. Not gonna lie. We mostly communicate through Facebook, but he always has something awesome to say. At first glance, you'd think he is a nerd. But he is much more than that. He definitely cares about his friends and he always has great stories to share. No matter how I'm interacting with him, whether it's talking on Facebook or in person, he will always have something new that he found, whether it's a Playboy robe or a new tea maker. xD Although I'm not the best of friends with him, I am glad to have him as a friend in my life.

Side note: Brent and Kaylie have been dating for about 9 months now and together, they always brighten my day. The interaction they have with one another is quite amazing and so adorable. I'm so glad that they're are together. :)

This is Jack...

Ride that bitch Jack! xD

When I first met Jack, it was through AIM. We started talking because a couple of our friends were trying to set us up. And even though we tried to go on a date and it didn't work, that didn't mean that I didn't want to be friends with Jack. I've always admired Jack's taste in music. It's fantastic and ginormous! His intellect never ceases to amaze me. I've always admired him for it. But whenever I am in his presence, he always seems to have something to talk about. It doesn't matter what it is, but always knows how to get a conversation started. I love to listen to him talk with everyone else. It makes me feel like I'm in some sort of important meeting or something. Jack moved up to Muncie earlier in August, so it's great to see him constantly. He's a joy to be around. Whatever he does with his life, he'll be great at it. :)

This is Mia...

D'aww... Mia loves giving people hugs. :)

She is honestly one of the most fantastic people I know. Like Kaylie, I thought she disliked me at first. But I've come to realize that she is quite awesome. I honestly don't know what I'd do without her. She's someone I can easily talk to and always say hi to! I wouldn't go as far to say that she's obsessed with it, but she LOVES the Final Fantasy franchise. And not just that, but she is an amazing artist. I always love looking at the pictures she's created on Flash. :) I may not see her everyday, but when I do, I love hearing what she has to say. Her IHOP stories were always quite entertaining to listen to. I'm glad that this summer happened because it definitely gave me a chance to get to know Mia so much better. I saw her quite constantly just as I have this school year. I hope that I can become even better friends with over the next couple of years. She's truly a wonderful person to be around. I admire her for all the talents and beauty she possesses within her. She will go far and wide with everything she has going for her. I can't wait to find out what she does with herself. :)

This is Anne...

Awwwwyeya! Anne lookin' sexy!

This girl right here is of THE best friends I could ever ask for! She's been in my life since the 5th grade. I remember eating lunch on the first day of 5th grade and she came and sat with me and some other people. It was sooo loud in the cafeteria that I honestly thought she said her name was Jasmine. xD But I later learned her name was Anne. We had math together and from there, we became friends. 5th and 6th grade brought on some of the greatest memories I'll ever take with me to the grave. xD Ahem, if you will, TLOS, Wisconsin cheese, $2.50, etc, etc. Although we've had our differences at times throughout this friendship, we've survived and been the best of friends. :) She is also one of the most talented people I know. Her music is fantastic and wonderful and I can never get enough of it. :) Her haunting melodies make me so envious of her gift. I wish I could write music like she can. Even though I can't, we still share a love for music. Had it not been for this girl, I wouldn't know some of the people I mentioned in this post. I'm so thankful for the things she's done. I'm so glad we're at Ball State together. It gives us both a chance to be closer to each other, not only as friends but in person. I know she's switched her major around a couple of times, but I know that nursing will do her well. She'll be a fantastic nurse. You can cure my illnesses any day Anne! :D

And finally...

This is Matt...

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwyeya! That's mah gansta man Matt right there! xD
Matt is the light of my life. I hardly go a day without talking to him in some way, shape, or form. He's been there for me on so many levels and in so many ways, it amazes me. He is truly a sweet guy. Must be all that sweet tea he drinks. xD I'm so thankful that we can confide in one another when we need someone to talk to. He is a total badass. xD He wears a tux real well. I definitely think he could be the next James Bond. Although he probably doesn't come across as that type of guy, he can definitely be the most affectionate of people. While he is definitely a hard worker and has totally earned everything he's made and any honor he has ever received, he is also a very laid back guy at times. He's not afraid to kick back, relax, grab a sammich and a sweet tea, and just lay in bed and hang out online for awhile or play Donkey Kong in his underwear. I couldn't be more proud of this fellow for who he is and everything he can do. We have the best times together, whether it's singing opera in the car about random signs we see or just laying down and having a nice cuddle session together. He always knows how to make my day perfect in ways I couldn't think of. He knows how to have a good time but definitely knows when to be serious about things. He is a wonderful writer. Of all the things I have read, he never ceases to be amazing with his words. I could listen to him talk for hours about anything. He gives me confidence that not all men are assholes. Especially the ones that are in my life. Almost three weeks ago, he moved up to Muncie. And I couldn't be happier to have him here. I'm so thankful to have him in my life. If it weren't for Anne (the one I talked about directly before Matt), I never would've even thought about being with this amazing guy. I'm so excited for whatever else we face in life. And we'll face it together.

This guy, right here, is definitely that one special guy in my life. I can honestly say, that after almost 8 months of being with him, I love him. I know love is a strong word to use when it comes to relationships, but whenever I look at him or talk to him or even think of him, this is what I feel. So let me start off by telling you our story.

We met on January 16, 2010 at the Anderson IHOP. At the time, I was still with someone else. I hadn't intended for us to get together or to let alone like him in a romantic sort of way. It was one of those extraordinary things that "just happen". So after a fun-filled night of meeting new people and playing Apples to Apples at IHOP and a rousing and exciting game of Mafia at Mia's place, a lightbulb went off in my head, telling me, "Hey! This guy is extremely nice and looks you in the eye and smiles at you! Get to know him!" The next Saturday, January 23, I had the pleasure of seeing Matt yet again. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of bringing my boyfriend with me. >_> How awkward it was... We spoke on Facebook briefly the next day about the Colts game and how they were going to the Super Bowl. Then, Monday, January 25, he came back up to Muncie with Jack, Josh, and their friend Brett. While we all had a good time, something sparked inside of me. It was a definite feeling of affection for Matt. We stayed up until 3 in the morning that night talking about our interests and getting to know one another. I told Anne to talk to him about the fact that I wanted him to be the person to make the first; it was to prove to me that he really wanted to be with me. And on Wednesday, January 27, he did. And it was the happiest I'd been in a long time. :) And that weekend, I spent every day with him, getting to know him better and better, and coming to the realization that there really are other guys out there than the dumb ones you find in high school. Since then, we've been inseparable, whether it's in person or talking AIM or texting. And I love every minute of it. And officially on February 3, 2010, Matt and I started dating.
So that's the story of how we met and came to be...

Oh Matt. :) How I love life even more because of him. Don't get me wrong. I love the fact that my friends help me in feeling better about myself and who I am and my life. It's nothing against any of my other friends. They help me out all the time. I got to them a lot of the time. But the thing people should know is that Matt has become one of my very best friends in life. He's the one person I can go to and cry my eyes out in front of. I can talk to him about damn near anything. And the best part about it all is that he actually listens to me. I've been in love before; a couple of times in fact. But this is real love compared to the others. He is the one and only person I can see myself with for the rest of my life. I'm sure there are other guys out there, and who knows what will happen. But for right now, I'm happy with Matt. I know it wouldn't be until after college that I get married, but sometimes I just can't help but sit back and think about what the married life would be like for the two of us. Hopefully, if things work out for the way they have been, this whole marriage thing will become a reality. But for right now, I'm quite elated and pleased with where we are at in our relationship. And for right now and for the next few years, I'd like to keep it that way. :)

I could continue on and on about him and our relationship, but I'll stop right now. Lol.

So after countless hours of writing this post, I've come to realize that it feels good to write again. :) Otay! Bedtime! Night all! :D
